Sydney Olympic Park Archery Celebrates a Trifecta of Success and Looks to the Future!

Sydney Olympic Park Archery (SOPA) is riding a wave of success, celebrating a fantastic period marked by strong participation in the World Archery Oceania Online Shoot this morning. The resounding success of the Para National Championships 2025 held at our venue, and the enthusiastic send-off for our talented SOPA Junior Team heading to the National Archery Youth Championships 2025.

The World Archery Oceania Online Shoot saw a remarkable 56 participants on the shooting line with enthusiasm fun and enjoyment of archery. This impressive turnout highlights the vibrant and engaged archery community within our club and underscores the dedication of our members to participate in competitive events, even in a virtual format. We commend each and every archer who took part, showcasing the spirit and skill that defines SOPA.

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, SOPA was honoured to host the highly successful Para National Championships 2025. The event was a testament to the incredible talent and determination within para-archery, and we were thrilled to provide a world-class venue for these inspiring athletes. The success of this championship further solidifies Sydney Olympic Park’s commitment to inclusivity and supporting all facets of the sport. Our volunteers are the backbone of this successful event, and we are immensely grateful for their contribution to the archery community.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! SOPA also held a special gathering to cheer on our dedicated SOPA Junior Team as they prepare to compete at the upcoming National Archery Youth Championships 2025. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation and encouragement as the young archers were given gifts of cheer and support to fuel their final preparations. The future of SOPA archery is undoubtedly bright in the hands of these talented individuals.
